The Community Organised Resource Exchange (CORE) is an online platform designed to match surplus resources between government, businesses and local charities. CORE was developed with support from Lotterywest via the WA Food Relief Framework.

The Project funded customisations which has enabled the development of two additional features for CORE.

Feature one: State Map: The building of a geo-located state map to identify and list available logistical, material aid and food resources for emergency preparedness, response and recovery. This function can be activated for specific users during times of emergency.

Feature two: Emergency Activation: Registered users can now use a check box to indicate the use of nominated resources in times of emergency only, making the listing private outside of emergencies.
