The project has developed a range of Emergency Food Security Planning Templates that can be customised to support state, district and local planning. Templates include a description of the State, District and local emergency management arrangements, internal and external contacts, roles and responsibilities, shared understanding of local disaster risk, climate profile, at risk- populations and targeted strategies, and the identification of assets to support emergency food security responses. The Templates will be used to develop processes of activation and identify who has roles and responsibilities under the plan. Importantly, these templates enable the not-for-profit sector to have clear roles and responsibilities.
