The promotion of the Consent to Share tool will enable to service providers to responsibly exchange information about people impacted by emergency in line with privacy legislation and principles to reduce the disclosure burden for impacted people having to reshare their stories and personal information.

This tool was developed by the Southwest Metropolitan Partnership Forum and has been further socialised to be widely used in a disaster setting by the WACOSS Disaster Resilience and Emergency Planning for Food Security Project.
