About the program
The WACOSS Regional Community Leadership and Development Program provides an excellent opportunity for people in the Wheatbelt and South West regions working in the Community Services sector to enhance their skills and to strengthen the regional community services network.
This Program primarily focuses on areas of greatest need, as determined through close consultation with key institutions and individuals in each respective region. It sets out to:
* harness and strengthen local leadership primarily within the community services sector;
* incubate, facilitate and support the development of local and inter-regional networks;
* build sector and community capacity, spirit, strength and cohesion;
* implement strategies that promote sustainability to maintain outcomes beyond this program.
In addition to specialised training in leadership and governance, the program offers mentoring and education in community development processes.

How to Get Involved
