This unique three day course examines public speaking and communication skills for activists and campaigners who are trying to make a point. The course is ideal for anyone wanting to brush up their presentation skills. In addition to learning presentation skills, communication techniques and tips to improve your speaking, the course includes the opportunity for live practice of the skills covered, followed by individual feedback and suggestions in a supportive and friendly environment. While all exercises are optional, and no-one will be forced to participate, everyone should understand that participation is an important component of learning. Communication skills can not be learned by just passively listening to a lecturer. Valued at $900, the course is heavily subsidised, with our sliding scale fees starting at just $150 NFP, $120 waged individual and $80 unwaged individual. Places are limited, bookings essential.
