WACOSS Emergency Relief Agencies Forum
The WACOSS Emergency Relief (ER) Forum is held on the first Wednesday of every month. The Forum is an information sharing, network event and guest speakers are regularly invited to attend.
The next ER Forum will be held on Wednesday 5th February 2014
The Forum starts at 9.30am and is held in Conference Room 7, at City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth. Everyone is welcome.
The WACOSS ER Forum provides an avenue for ER agencies to come together once a month to:
- Provide mutual support
- Share information
- Discuss current and emerging issues related to their services and clients
- Participate in learning opportunities
- Meet with other agencies, departments and stakeholders who are interested in gaining the opinions of ER agencies
- Develop strategies for working collaboratively

Meeting face to face is still the number one method of communication; including the best way to let other people know what you are doing as well as for finding out what other services have to offer.
WACOSS is keen to assist in the development of local and regionally based Emergency Relief networks. If you have the interest we can provide the information on how to get a network up and running and help you to locate possible avenues for administrative support (i.e. minute taking, venue and coordination of meetings
