CERTIFICATE IV RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION (CHC42408) Group Facilitation Skills
In 2011 Relationships Australia commenced delivery of a new nationally recognised qualification in group facilitation skills, the Certificate IV in Relationship Education – Group Facilitation Skills. The next intake for this course is 9 May 2012.
Course Aims: this course develops the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for effectively facilitating psycho-education groups in the broad field of family, relationship and personal development education. The types of groups that students will be trained to facilitate could include, but are not limited to, communication, self worth, anger management and conflict resolution courses, parenting programs, personal and relationship enrichment courses, health related education sessions and working with a range of participants including young people and culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Total cost: $2750.

Fee: $750 includes assessment [$600 ex assessment]

Module Recognising and responding to domestic and family violence (2 days) - 2012
Fee: $400 includes assessment [$320 ex assessment]

Module Working effectively in relationship work (4 days) - 2013
Fee: $650 includes assessment [$520 ex assessment]

TOTAL COST for Certificate IV - including assessment fee = $2750
(This includes a discount of $400 when all 4 Modules are taken). Payment plans are available.
Non-recognised training: participants may elect to attend the training without being formally assessed, in which case there is a reduced fee per module.
