NEW WACOSS TRAINING CALENDAR FOR 2010

WACOSS is pleased to announce a series of professional development full day workshops for 2010.

WACOSS trainers are highly qualified, experienced, have strong knowledge of the sector and are well known for  their passion and commitment to working with community organisations.

Our workshops are held at City West Lotteries House (next to City West Train Station) with lunch and refreshments included. Each attendee also receives a pack of relevant information

and notes to take with you.

The first training for you in 2010 is “Meeting Your Legal Obligations When Employing Staff.” Current legislative changes mean it’s even more important that organizations are informed and prepared. This workshop is specially designed to help you with understanding your employment obligations and ensuring good human resource management practices are in place. This workshop is new to the WACOSS list and has been developed because of the large number of calls we receive around employment contracts and legal obligations when things have gone wrong.
