Surviving and Thriving under the DCSP Policy

WACOSS has listened to the needs of our sector and translated your ideas into a workshop specifically for you. WACOSS has created the time and space for those involved in leading their organization to put together a pro-active strategy to respond to the new reforms
This is the first of a series of activities WACOSS is making available free for our sector. The workshop provides an opportunity for those delivering community services to consider how their organization can be better prepared, to be better positioned and to take advantage of the potential opportunities occurring within the new state government contracting and funding arrangements.
. Working with a small group of select consultants WACOSS brings together our sector. Participants will be actively working through case studies of the likely impact of the changes, sharing approaches and ideas and hearing from leaders in the fields of financial management and outcomes based service design.
The second part of the highly practical session allows for services to seek views, advice or solutions to their own unique service issues through experts in their field. On the spot specialist will be available for one on one discussion. WACOSS brings to you well respected thought leaders experienced in our sector who are well aware of the pit falls and the reform possibilities.
We invite those who are decision makers or those involved in financial management of their service to attend this event. Learn what approaches are required and what you need to consider and engage in a critical dialogue around the process and how to transition your service to change the way it operates.
This highly practical workshop will give you the opportunity to work through three key areas of impact:

- Your financial systems; and
- Outcomes based service design.
