Community Sector Funding Reform Resources Background on DCSP the policy
The funding reforms that we are seeing in Western Australia presently have been in the works for decades. It is not a new or radical concept that the community services sector is underpaid and under-resourced, and that many community service organisations are simply not sustainable.
For years, peak bodies have been lobbying government, members of Parliament, and anyone that would listen to find a way to ensure that our community services sector, which serves and supports the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our society, is sustainable and is valued within our community.
